Tuna Casserole

Cooking with Tupperware making Tuna Casserole in the Microwave Smart Multi-Cooker

Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • ¼ - ½ tsp salt for pasta water
  • 1 5 oz can Tuna
  • ¼ onion chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup frozen peas
  • 1 10.75 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup ⁄2Panko bread crumbs
  • 1-2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In the Base of the Smart Multi-Cooker combine noodles, salt and 3-4 cups water to the indent line in the Base. Microwave on high power 5 minutes.
  • Place Shielded Colander inside Base.
  • In a 4 cup Vent N Serve container combine tuna, onion, cheese, peas, cream of mushroom soup and salt and pepper. Place inside Shielded Colander, place Shielded Cover on and microwave for 5-7 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, toast panko bread crumbs in a small skillet with butter until golden brown.
  • Remove Vent N Serve container. Set aside.
  • Drain the egg noodles and place into Base of Smart Multi-Cooker. Add contents of Vent N Serve container to egg noodles, stir to combine.
  • Serve Tuna casserole and top with toasted bread crumbs.
