Biscuits
Cooking with Tupperware making biscuits in the MicroPro Grill
Ingredients
- 1 ¾ cup flour
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- ¾ cup milk
- ⅓ cup butter
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix together, flour, salt and baking powder.
- Using a pastry blender, or your fingertips, cut or rub the butter in until the mixture looks like bread crumbs.
- Add the milk all at once, mixing quickly and gently for about 20 seconds until you have a soft dough. Pat the dough into a rectangle about 3⁄4" thick. Fold it into thirds like a letter and roll gently with a floured rolling pin until the dough is 3⁄4" thick again.
- Cut into circles with a biscuit cutter for traditional round biscuits.
- Place biscuits in the base of the MicroPro Grill, place cover in CASSEROLE position and microwave at 80% power for 7-8 minutes, flip biscuits over and place cover in CASSEROLE position and microwave at 80% power for 5-7 minutes more.
